How to Get Rocket Racing Cars

Rocket racing is a fun new mode, like all of Fortnite though there are cosmetics to think about. Your skin might appear in the lobby, but hidden inside your car you don’t exactly get to see it much. It’s Rocket Racing cars that are the most present cosmetics in the game.

Rocket Racing cars are a great way of customizing your appearance in-game. Everyone starts with a blue-ish car that’s similar to Rocket League. It’s a nice car and still used widely. But some people might want to mix things up. In that case, there are now new Cars you can use to customize your appearance.

The Cars aren’t just single items. Just like choosing your Fortnite skin, back bling, and glider all separately, you can apply wheels, deals, and more to the body of your car to really change how it appears. What are Rocket Racing Cars and how can you get them?

All Rocket Racing Car Items

If you want to change up how your car looks in Rocket Racing (or in Battle Royale for that matter), you need to create a loadout just like other cosmetics for Fortnite. These are the key pieces of Rocket Racing cars you’ll get to customize:

How to Get Rocket Racing Cars

If you want to unlock extra vehicles, there are a few different ways you can do it. Just like collecting free Fortnite skins, there are some you can get as a reward. However, they’re often just for sale. Between these ways to get them, there are a few different sources. These are the main ways to add vehicles to your locker:

Item Shop

Epic sells Rocket Racing cars in the Fortnite Item Shop. For these, they’ll come in bundles. You’ll get the main car body but also extra pieces so everything will match in your loadout. They cost V-Bucks, but most are only available this way.

Questa and Rewards

Along with the Item Shop, you can regularly collect cars by taking part in quests. Limited-time events often have a themed car or piece of a car as a reward. There are even Fortnite collabs in this section, like the challenges to unlock the Cybertruck.

For these, you’ll need to get all those quests finished off in time. They’re usually time limited, but fun to complete through finishing races.

How to Change Your Rocket Racing Car

If you’ve unlocked some new pieces of Rocket Racing cars, you can try them out and build your own car. How can you do this? These are the steps:

Select a Racing mode in the main menu (This makes it quicker to access)
Go to your Locker
You’ll find all the pieces of Rocket Racing Cars there.
Put them together like choosing items for your Battle Royale locker
