It’s that time of year again – many of the CS2 rosters are preparing for changes towards the end of the 2024 season. We’re here to show you the moves that have been made so far!
Latest Confirmed CS2 Roster Changes
These are the latest CS2 roster changes you need to know about if you’re following the esports scene right now.
Astralis
–br0
+cadiaN
Astralis cadiaN is perhaps the funniest roster move of 2024. The Heroic CS2 drama seems to be well in the past now, with stavn, jabbi, and cadiaN able to put aside their differences after struggling without each other. This is a properly absurd CS2 roster change that has sent waves through the scene, but will it work on the server? Only time will tell.
Astralis are:
dev1ce
Staehr
stavn
jabbi
cadiaN
ENCE
–Goofy
This ENCE project has been nothing short of a disaster. They’re missing a Major for the first time in years, and it’s gone so badly that Goofy is taking a break from competition entirely. Don’t be shocked to see more changes here in the coming months, or even weeks.
ENCE are:
gla1ve
sdy
Kylar
podi
Fnatic
–afro
+nawwk
Admittedly, this CS2 roster change for Fnatic caught us off guard. It’s far too sensible. It makes too much sense. Are Fnatic making good CS decisions again?! Truthfully, afro hasn’t been good enough, and Fnatic need an eligible AWPer that will help them qualify for the Major later this year. That they’ve managed to find a good one in nawwk that allows them to hold on to their Swedish identity in some way is just a bonus. Sure, nawwk’s been out of form on BLEED, but he can definitely bounce back.
Fnatic are:
KRIMZ
nawwk
bodyy
MATYS
blameF
OG
+Buzz
After a successful stand-in period, former Astralis man Buzz has joined OG. I’m personally a big Buzz believer, and felt he had a little more to give on Astralis when he was cut at the start of 2024. Can he finally realize his potential on OG? This could prove to be an important shot in his career, and he needs to grasp the opportunity.
OG are:

Nexius
Buzz
MoDo

BLEED
–nexa –hampus –nawwk
+VLDN
Keep throwing things at the wall, BLEED. Eventually, something has got to stick. VLDN is back, nexa is gone after two months, hampus is on load at Johnny Speeds despite kassad claiming he “isn’t going anywhere” just a few weeks ago, and BLEED even made nawwk look bad. This is a team that needs some results, after a tough 2024.
BLEED are:
VLDN
CYPHER
jkaem
GamerLegion
–aNdu
GamerLegion dropping aNdu to the bench has us wondering: why? He’d put up some fine numbers for the team, leading us to believe it could be a personality clash. Regardless, GamerLegion will now look for another young talent to replace aNdu, if the organization keeps up with its current MO.
GamerLegion are
ztr
volt
sl3nd
FL4MUS
Into the Breach
–BOROS
+REDSTAR
BOROS is already out of the new Into the Breach project, a damning indictment of the young star’s attitude right now. He has been replaced with Bulgarian talent, who already looks a solid fit for this squad. The Into the Breach rebuild continues.
Into the Breach are:
smooya
Keoz
juanflatroo
sinnopsyy

Liquid
–cadiaN -skullz
+ultimate +jks
Well, that was faster than we expected. The Liquid superteam has crumbled, with its AWP IGL as the first casualty. Brazilian rifler skullz has also left to FURIA now too, giving him a chance to represent the biggest organization in South America. From the outside, it seems as though cadiaN wasn’t given the freedom to IGL in his preferred style. As the replacements, young AWPer ultimate has been given the chance to move up to Tier 1, in a big risk for the organization. Meanwhile, jks finally returns to action after 9 months of inactivity. He should provide consistent firepower from some tough spots – a real smart signing.
Liquid are:
YEKINDAR
Twistzz
NAF
ultimate
jks
M80
–malbsMd
+Lake
Losing malbsMd to G2 is an enormous blow for M80, but replacing him with one of NA’s best talents in Lake is a brave move we didn’t expect. We like it a lot, though. Lake has shown he has the potential to make a big step up in competition, and if this move goes well, M80 could be in for another big payday further down the line.
M80 are:
slaxz-
Swisher
reck

Lake
Monte
–STYKO
+KEi
Monte are going Polish, it seems. It’s okay, I guess? Unless this roster shows us something to be excited about immediately, we don’t think it’ll hit the heights of the 2023 squad, and isn’t the most exciting of CS2 roster changes.
Monte are:
KEi
hades
dycha
DemQQ
kRaSnaL
Ninjas in Pyjamas
–ALEX
+MisteM
NIP have finally given up on their Spanish IGL, ALEX, and decided to promote yet another Young Ninjas talent to the main roster with MisteM. Making an inexperienced 22-year-old the captain of NIP is high-risk, high-reward, and is especially brave for an organization that has a bad track record with bold gambits of late. Let’s give the kid a fair chance, though.
Ninjas in Pyjamas are:
maxster
REZ
MisteM
r1nkle
isak
TSM
–Altekz
+sirah
Acquiring sirah from MOUZ NXT is something of a coup for TSM. He’s one of the top Danish talents in the scene, and we have no doubt this should prove to be one of the best CS2 roster changes in the Tier 2 scene. Dropping Altekz feels harsh, though, and we’d like to see the former Astralis man bounce back.
TSM are:
valde
Zyphon
acoR
sirah
niko
