The BLAST Premier World Final 2024 is almost here. Eight of 2024’s top performers in the CS2 scene have descended upon Singapore to compete for the lion’s share of a massive $1,000,000 prize pool, and you know what that means: it’s time for some CS2 team predictions. Read on for our BLAST Premier World Final 2024 power rankings, including favorites and underdogs!
BLAST Premier World Final 2024 Favorites
Right at the top of the list of favorites in this competitive CS2 event is obviously NAVI. Their consistency throughout 2024 has been insane, and they’ve now been to six consecutive Grand Finals. Three victories isn’t a shabby record, either. It’s hard to bet against NAVI in current form, especially given they’ll want to use this event to stay in strong form for the upcoming Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024.
Also keep an eye on MOUZ as a potential favorite here. After coming so close to victory in IEM Rio 2024, this is their chance to bounce right back into form. MOUZ are a team with a massive point to prove – they’re not undeniable winners yet, but they clearly have the potential to be. But that one word, potential, is one that this team needs to escape. Singapore is a great chance to do that.
Here are our CS2 power rankings for the eight teams attending the BLAST Premier World Final 2024:
NAVI
Team Vitality
MOUZ
G2 Esports
Team Liquid
Team Spirit
FaZe Clan
Astralis
BLAST Premier World Final 2024 Underdogs
Looking at the BLAST Premier World Final 2024 teams, there are no ‘bad’ teams at this level of competition. However, some are more favored than others to win the event, leaving us with the underdogs. Our main underdog is Team Spirit. While their performances haven’t been what they’ve wanted for most of 2024, this is shown to be a roster with an absurdly high peak. If they can capture that at the right moment in Singapore, they’re more than capable of putting on a winning performance throughout this CS2 tournament.
Our second underdog is FaZe Clan. At this point, this is a roster fighting desperately for its life. Each player are looking to save themselves a spot on the 2025 roster, and it feels like the only thing that could keep them together is victory here in the BLAST World Final and at the Perfect World Shanghai Major. FaZe Clan have always been best when the chips are down, so we’re curious to see if they can upset the odds in Singapore.
