Esports World Cup: All EWC Results

The Esports World Cup 2024 is the world’s biggest esports tournament to date. With 22 tournaments to keep up with, that’s a whole lot of results. Each tournament winner is important, winning just one tournament will give an org a chance to win part of an even more prize money in the club championship. Here are all of the EWC results to date!

Call of Duty: Warzone

Call of Duty: Warzone was the very first tournament to conclude on July 6th. It featured 21 of the best Call of Duty teams in the world and while everyone got a share of the $1 million prize pool, only the top 8 earned Club Championship points. Team Falcons were the very first to place their key in the Esports World Cup totem, set to be displayed in Riyadh after the entire event concludes.

This also means Team Falcons earned the highest number of EWC Club Championship points and set them ahead of the rest of the pack. Falcons are going to be competing in a number of events including Dota 2, Overwatch and Fortnite.

League of Legends

Next up was League of Legends, which reached its finale on July 7th. There was a relatively small amount of teams compared to other Esports World Cup events so everyone got a share of the CC points. But it was Faker the rest of T1 that got to lift the trophy and take home the lion’s share of the $1 million prize pool.

It’s no real surprise that the League of Legends EWC tournament managed to pull in around 1 million viewers, as one of the most popular esports in the world.

MLBB

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid Season Cup is the premier event of this year. It started on the very first day of the Esports World Cup, July 3rd, with Selangor Red Giants finally claiming the $1 million prize money on July 14th.

Only 5 teams were able to claim Club Championship points, and without taking part in any other tournaments, will likely cement many positions already.

Free Fire

Free Fire was the second tournament where Team Falcons took home the number 1 place, putting them way ahead of the Club Championship rankings.

All of the Free Fire action wrapped up on July 14th to some of the most exciting gameplay we’ve seen in some time!

Dota 2

The Dota 2 Riyadh Masters tournament is the longest running and highest prize pool of any event at the EWC! It all kicked off on July 4th but it wasn’t until July 21st that Gaimin Gladiators lifted the trophy.

In a final we’ve seen a number of times before, Team Liquid fell in a grand finals to Gaimin Gladiators, this time in a clean 3-0. This is GG’s first tournament win at the Esports World Cup and stands them in good stead to go even further.

Counter-Strike 2

We’ll have a wait a little while for the CS2 EWC results! It’s going to be one of the best EWC tournaments to watch since the very best of the best will be taking part. You can catch all of the action from July 17th – 21st.

MLBB Women’s Championship

MLBB is the only game at the Esports World Cup with 2 individual tournaments. The women’s tournament will take place from July 24th – 27th and include 12 of the best women’s teams in esports.

PUBG Mobile World Championship

PUBG is one of the few battle royale esports games out there and is neck and neck with Fortnite as the best. An enormous 28 teams are going to be battling it out from July 19th – 28th.

Overwatch 2

The Overwatch 2 esports scene is definitely trying to redeem itself in 2024. This classic 5v5 shooter tournament will have 16 teams fighting to reach the top of the EWC results podium.

Rainbow 6 Siege

In the wake of the Manchester Major, Rainbow 6 Siege is making its presence known as one of the most competitive and exciting esports to watch. We won’t know the results until August though so stay tuned.

Honor of Kings

In a world where Dota and LoL reign supreme, it’s easy to forget about multiplayer online battle arenas such as Honor of Kings. But if you get bitten by the MOBA bug, you can catch up with everything from August 1st – 4th.

Apex Legends

Another day, another battle royale! Apex Legends will have an unprecedented 32 invited teams taking part in this epic EWC tournament from August 1st – 4th.

Street Fighter 6

First up on the fighting games roster is Street Fighter 6, one of the most popular games out there. It’s also one of the only games where players compete as individuals instead of on teams. 32 players will compete from August 8th – 11th.

Fortnite

You’d have to be pretty crazy to miss out on the Esports World Cup featuring Fortnite. Even if you’re brand new to esports, chances are you’ve seen a little something of Fortnite. Now is the perfect time to check it out between August 8th – 11th.

Teamfight Tactics

Coming from Riot Games, TFT is pretty unique in the world of competitive gaming. There’s so much action left to come that there are still 4 places left for teams to qualify to! This tournament takes place from August 8th – 11th.

Starcraft 2 – ends August 18th

The Starcraft 2 Esports World Cup tournament is going to have a record breaking prize pool of $1 million. There’s a whole lot on the line for these players, who will fight to lead the EWC results board for RTS games from August 14th – 18th.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 – ends August 18th

Warzone and MW3 are very different beasts when it comes to Call of Duty at the Esports World Cup. This second CoD tournament will feature 16 yet to qualify teams playing between August 14th – 18th for a share of the prize pool and CC points.

FIFA 2024

The FIFA 2024 tournament at the Esports World Cup will feature 16 of the best players trying to take the W from August 15th-18th.

PUBG – ends August 25th

PUBG and PUBG Mobile might seem similar but they are in fact very different beats. The PUBG EWC competition is one of the last to begin on August 21st – 25th.

Rocket League

Another one of our top tournaments at the EWC is Rocket League. Fresh off their win at the RLCS London Major, can G2 Stride take another win?

ESL R1

Sim racing is also here to make its presence known. This unique tournament will feature both esports teams and real OEM drivers and is sure to be really exciting.

Tekken 8 – ends August 25th

Last but not least, Tekken 8 is going to be representing the fighting game category and one of the last to show their EWC results! 32 players will fight it out in a 1v1 format for the ultimate prize of $1 million.
