Riot Games is updating the Immortalized Legend” Ahri skin to match Faker’s five world titles
The minor update will see the addition of the fifth trophy to Ahri’s recall animation as well as the display of five stars during the loading screen, one for each championship won (2013, 2015, 2016, 2023, and 2024).
Considered by many the GOAT of esports and the face of the League of Legends esports scene, Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok is the most decorated LoL professional player. Earlier last year, Riot Games introduced the Hall of Legends to commemorate the most influential and iconic symbols of LoL Esports, and to no one’s surprise, Faker ended up being the first one to be added.
The controversy around Hall of Legends
To celebrate his induction in the Hall of Legends, Riot Games pushed out the Hall of Legends Ahri skin, comprised of three different visual aspects, each marked at a different price point. In particular, the Immortalized Legend Ahri skin attracted some controversy within the community due to its price point of $500, an inaccessible option for many players. “One trophy costs $100,” said a user while commenting on the news update.

Some also wondered how Riot Games plans to handle upcoming updates of the skin if Faker were to win more world championships.
What we know for certain, however, is that the new update will be shipped to the live servers starting from Patch s25.1.2, according to content creator SkinSpotlights.
Looking forward, the new Hall of Legends inductee should be revealed sometime this year. That being said, there haven’t been leaks or news on the potential candidates for 2025.
