Now that the game mode has been out for a few days, this is the best and Riven build you should be playing LoL’s newest PvE game mode Swarm.

Best Riven Build in LoL Swarm

While she is one of the hardest champions to master and in this game mode, Riven is also one of the strongest champions in the LoL Swarm tier list. As a natural bruiser with lots of mobility and AoE damage, she can wipe out the enemies while also tanking for her allies during most of the fights, making her a flexible and versatile champion that fits into every team composition.

In this guide, we will be going over the best Riven build, explaining the best weapons and upgrades you need to get on her to maximize her power.

Best stats upgrade

The list of stats you want to upgrade on Riven are:

Movement Speed
Crit Chance
Damage
Armor
Duration
Haste

Just like in traditional 5v5 game mode, the stats you want to prioritize are basically identical: damage, haste, and movement speed. In Swarm, however, movement speed takes even higher importance since you have to move away quickly if you’re in danger from the waves of mobs coming at you. As alternatives, you can also consider max health, health regeneration, and armor, if you need more resistances.

Best weapons for Riven in Swarm

The best Riven weapons I found myself comfortable with are:

Iceblast Armor
UwU Blaster
Bunny Crossbow
Mega Bunny Blast

If you want to have a MS-oriented setup, consider getting Blade-o-rang and Paw Print Poisoner instead. A tankier Riven can also consider Radiant Field and Cyclonic Slicers.

Augments are also vital for a champion like Riven since they can greatly amplify her damage. Just like with the Jinx Swarm build, Ramming Runner and Cross Country are ideal because they greatly synergize with her movement speed. If you happen to get either of those, make sure to upgrade the MS stat.
