Dragon Ball Sparking Zero already has a huge roster but it’s getting bigger with the DLC release. We’ve just had the first Dragon Ball Sparking Zero DLC, a batch dedicated to the recent Super Hero movie.
The first batch of content is definitely fleshing out the Sparking Zero characters. This time it’s focused on a specific movie. However, there are new forms and versions of quite a few well-liked characters. There’s particularly going to be a noticeable addition if you’re more interested in the PVP side of the game. This is what’s coming with the big expansion.

Sparking Zero DLC Adds New Forms
What exactly is coming with the new Sparking Zero DLC pack though? Since the game first released, we’ve known a bit about the characters being added. The first batch of DLC is focused on content from the recent Dragon Ball Super Super Hero film. Titled, the Hero of Justice. If you missed the film, Gohan and Piccolo speed run a recreation of the Cell saga and get some new forms. These are the new characters that are coming to the game.

- Super Saiyan Gohan
- Ultimate Gohan
- Beast Gohan
- Base Piccolo
- Awakened Piccolo
- Orange Piccolo
- Giant Piccolo
- Cell Max
- Gamma 1
- Gamma 2
These are some interesting characters, including some particularly huge boss characters that are hitting the game. A lot of the other picks are filling out the characters with their Super Hero looks, great if you’re designing specific Sparking Zero What if matches.
There’s also the Gammas coming, two new androids from the film. At release it seems there’s some bugs with Beast Gohan though, or at least exploitable mechanics to him.

The characters supposedly at the highest power levels in canon seem to be the most overpowered in-game. Such as Mastered Ultra Instinct Goku, Beast Gohan has predictably suffered from similar faults. With players already developing some annoying spam tactics to use him. It’s part of the fun of seeing these new players added though.
We’re expecting more Sparking Zero DLC to release eventually! It does seem like it’ll only be characters so far. Now a lot of the Super Hero content is done, we could get even more creative picks for our next batch, once we learn what’s coming with more Sparking Zero fighting game news. Possibly exploring more corners of classic Dragon Ball, or the new Daima series.
