Fortnite has a ton of seemingly random collaborations. These include Nike, the NBA, Ariana Grande, Tesla, Ferrari, Marvel, and so many others. If it exists in any capacity, Epic Games could conceivably develop a partnership with it. That apparently includes a gas station, as popular fill-up company Sheetz has officially joined the Fortnite metaverse.

Fortnite Collaborates with Sheetz

The collaboration between Sheetz and Fortnite is not in Battle Royale or anything like that. There’s no gas pump back bling or an attendant NPC at a Sheetz POI. It’s a Creative crossover. The map is yet another play on Only Up. That game involves players perpetually climbing over, through, and around obstacles to get to the highest point possible.

Ironically, Fortnite Creative maps have recreated the game pretty well. They were at one point more played than the actual game itself. This time, the map is called Sheetz Run: Only Up and it will feature obstacles from the gas station.

“(Players) will jump over Made-to-Order sandwiches, climb mountains of crispy curly fries, take a dip in irresistible Boom Boom sauce, and swim through giant soda straws, all while racing toward victory in this wild, imaginative adventure,” a press release from Umi Games states.

This is one of the first video game collaborations of its kind.

The president of Umi Games, Tom Parry, said, “Bringing this game to life has been an exciting journey of creativity and collaboration. Partnering with an innovative brand like Sheetz has enabled us to design a uniquely fun and immersive map that players will absolutely love. We’ve elevated the experience with comprehensive promotional support, spanning in-game features to Creator partnerships, ensuring we connect with next-gen audiences in the most engaging ways.”

To get into the map, simply open Fortnite, search for a map, and enter the code: 1426-4763-1925.
