While it’s proved popular for its core fighter element, extra content for SF 6 hasn’t focused on the most played elements, like providing more Street Fighter 6 outfits. Characters get their base look and an alt style., but not much else. After launch, Battle Pass and other content has mainly focused on areas of the game like avatars. However, that’s changing soon with Capcom announcing a new addition to Street Fighter 6 outfits and extra content.
In a recent update, Capcom has announced a new round of skins are coming for each of the characters. Including releases for new additions like Mai in Street Fighter 6. New fighters are exciting, but fans have missed the element of choice with outfits. With this update it looks like the game is moving to focus on the elements that players are actually interested in. Street Fighter 6 Outfits Coming
In a recent update, Capcom have announced some changes coming. They’re taking a different approach to Street Fighter 6 updates and future content. It’ll be a welcome one to a lot of players, as they’re trying to focus more on what the player base actually engages with.
In the statement, Capcom has clarified that they’re noticed players are more interested in areas of the game like Fighting Ground. Going forward, they’ll be focusing on these parts of the game. New outfits might not all be releasing at once. However, they will all get out there gradually, beginning with another set of outfits for players.

After this, they’ll be ‘reassessing” Fighting Pass contents. Trying to alter the composition of these passes to bring in more items useful in Fighting Ground. This change should help to make the passes actually useful for players who prefer just grinding the core gameplay to the other modes.
Street Fighter 6 is close to its third year, once we see the Capcom Cup held in a few months. These extra skins will help to give players more options, but with more characters still being released there’s plenty to keep the game fresh.
