Every season, there are usually a few Fortnite Exotics. These are similar to Mythic weapons in that they’re among the most powerful in the game, but Exotic weapons have a special ability. The Boom Sniper Rifle, for example, shot clingers instead of bullets. The Hop Rock Dualies gave low-gravity effects when fired. The Dub had a major knockback effect. The list goes on, but now Chapter 6 Season 2 has some new examples.

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 Adds Exotics

According to leaker ShiinaBR, the latest weekly update added several Exotics to Fortnite. There are six new weapons in the loot pool after the weekly patch. This includes a rocket launcher and sniper. They are now live in the game, so you can start attempting to get and use them as soon as you want.

First, the Lawless Slap Cannon fires healing Slap at teammates and restores health and shield. Second, the Lawless Blink Pump & Dump is here. It grants a few seconds of Zero Point Dash ability right after reloading.

The Lawless Stink Rifle releases a damaging stink cloud on impact. There is, as mentioned, a Lawless Shockwave Rocket Launcher in the game now. This weapon fires a projectile that acts as an impulse grenade to anyone nearby. It’s similar to the Boom Sniper in that way.

Additionally, the Lawless Trinity Assault Rifle shoots four shots in a triangle pattern, although it does offset this by having a lower firing rate. Finally, there’s the Lawless Heavy Impact Tracking Rifle. This gun will briefly reveal the location of players and chests right around where it made contact with a player.

These Fortnite Exotics will be found primarily in Black Markets. To get them, you’ll need Dill Bits. This in-game currency can be found in Vaults at Crime City and other POIs. There are eight total in a given match, so they’re not terribly common, nor are the Exotic weapons. These are in Battle Royale, not Fortnite Reload or OG right now.
