Everything we know so far about PUBG Mobile Attack on Titan Collab

The 3.8 update adds two main things to the game. Steampunk Frontier Mode, a new themed game mode with themed environments based on train stations and industrial environments. There will also be a choice for players to briefly enlarge their character’s size, much like the Titan shifts experienced in the anime show.

The 3.8 update is currently a couple of weeks away. If you are looking for some immediate action, check out exciting new elements added in PUBG Mobile Version 3.7 April Fools’ Update.

Steampunk Frontier Mode

The Steampunk Frontier mode adds some new map locations and gameplay mechanics:

  • Aetherholm: A central train station district with different facilities, such as a clock tower with a secret room that can be accessed using an elevator. This district also provides the ability to call a train carrying special cargo.
  • Cargo Hub: A district created as a cargo transit point connecting both urban and rural environments. This district provides the ability for players to travel quickly through interconnected tracks.
  • Hot Air Balloons: The air observation posts have been inserted throughout the map and can be used for surveillance.
  • Train Platform and Rollercoaster Checkpoint: These short stops and roller coasters include a new aspect of tactical travel, as well as offering second-choice routes of relocation during a game.

Steampunk artwork is utilized as the mode with it fitting easily with the newly implemented train-type gameplay mechanics. Two principal categories of steam trains have been added to the update.

The Epoch Cargo Train makes stops at places like Aetherholm and can be called upon to transport special cargo. A mechanical grab drops supplies on the players when the train arrives. And the express Train, running on a loop around the map that stops at marked hubs like Cargo Hubs and Train Platforms. Inside the train, players have access to a Mechanical Cache through an in-game clockwork puzzle.
