After a flawless day one at YaLLa Compass Spring 2025, NAVI Junior and BetBoom were able to round out Groups A and B with their perfect record intact on day two, with neither team looking phased as they locked in their Semi-Final spots in the event. The spotless record for both is made even more impressive by the unpredictability of online Counter-Strike, which often produces far more random results than you might usually see on LAN.

Across both of these teams, there’s one narrative that has stood out that could have implications right up to the very top of Tier 1 Counter-Strike. NAVI Junior’s makazze has looked ready for the step up for a little while now, and the way he has continued to perform throughout this online event, it’ll be interesting to see if NAVI are looking to give him a short stint on the main team. Keep your eye on him throughout the YaLLa Compass Spring 2025 Playoffs.

ENCE sneak through on head-to-head record

As arguably the highest-profile team at the event (certainly on name value), you’d have expected ENCE to make short work of Group B at YaLLa Compass Spring 2025. Of course, it wasn’t quite so simple, with the team still reeling from Major qualification failure and only managing to muster two wins in Group B. Good news, though – that was enough for the team to make it to the Playoffs, edging past Spirit Academy on head-to-head record alone.

If you’re ENCE, even winning this event won’t help ease the pain of the Major failure, but it’s a good confidence builder nonetheless. Finishing above Spirit Academy, GTZ, and Metizport in Group B is still a strong result to take through for the rest of YaLLa Compass Spring 2025.
