One of the best weapons in the current Fortnite season is the Mythic Marksman Rifle. A powered-up version of the IQA-11 scoped Rile. Since every gun has turned into a blaster, we’ve got a bit of a different meta for the guns right now. The Marksman Rifle is one of the best in the game and the Mythic version on top of that adds even better stats. How can you track it down though?
There are loads of different Mythics in the game at the moment with a lot of different blasters having a better version. They’re all acquired in different ways though. Only one of the bosses even drops a Medallion. If you want to track down the Mythic Marksman Rifle then what where can you find this one?

How to Get the Mythic Marksman Rifle
The Mythic Marksman Rifle is acquired in a bit of a different way to usual. It does come from a Fortnite NPC, but it’s a different method than old seasons. You’re not taking them down with a big fight against a boss. Instead, you’ll just need to interact with them. However, you do need to bring them an item first. Then you can trade it in for the Mythic Rifle.
You’ll need to track down a lightsaber in the game, which can be tricky itself. Then take it to General Grievous. The character’s stash of lightsabers has become a bit of a meme in the years his brief appearance. So, the NPC references this, wanting a new lightsaber to add to his collection.
He’ll trade you a Mythic for a new Fortnite Lightsaber! This does mean you have to wait until after the lightsaber portals have appeared, but you can find the Mythic Marksman Rifle straight after. This is how you can collect it:
- Drop in, and do your opening storm circle stuff
- Wait until the lightsaber portals open

- Head over to General Grievous in Rolling Blossoms Farm
- Talk to him to trade the lightsaber in for a Mythic Blaster Rifle
That’s all you need to do! The Mythic Marksman Rifle is one of the best Fortnite weapons this season so it’s definitely worth tracking down. Since it’s a bit of an involved process though, it might not be a Mythic to try and pick up every game.
