After a week full of delays, Epic is giving out something for free, the Fortnite Skyline Pack! Although, the set of free wraps isn’t coming to players because of the delayed update, it’s just a coincidence. To actually get the new free wraps, players will need to head over to a specific store and claim the new free item.
Right now, the Epic Games store is hosting the “Mega” sale. We’re seeing free items in games like Rocket League, Fall Guys, and now Fortnite too. To begin the season, it looked like we weren’t getting a Fortnite free item. But with the latest update, a set of wraps have been revealed. It isn’t quite a free skin but it’s a chance to get a free Fortnite cosmetic. How can you get the Fortnite Skyline Pack?

A new set of free Fortnite cosmetics is here! To celebrate a sale in the Epic Games Store, Frosted Skyline Pack has been added. This is a simple pack of two wraps. These are unique patterns which apply to weapons to change their appearance. They used to apply to cars too, but now we have Fortnite car skins instead. These are the two items included in the new pack:

Both are based on arctic skies! One of ice and one of light effects of the Northern Lights. They’ll be a good addition to some skins, although the impact of wraps is fairly limited. If you want to collect the free wraps, you’ll need to head to the Epic Games Store.
How to Get the Free Frosted Skyline Wraps
How can you get the new free wraps? To unlock them, you need to find them on the Epic Games Store instead of the Item Shop. Since it’s a free item, all there is to do to then is to click claim. If you’re on PC this will be simple enough. On console, it’s a little trickier. Since Fortnite isn’t on the Epic Games Store here. However, you can claim it easily online. The Fortnite web store is currently the best way to get any purchase, since there’s now Epic Rewards. This is how you claim the Fortnite Skyline Wraps:
- Go to the Store website.
- Find the Frosted Skyline Pack, you can search for it
- Click Get
- On the next page, click Confirm. It’s a free purchase
- You’ll go to a Thanks for your Order page, confirming you’ve successfully claimed it.
Once you’ve done this, you should receive the Fortnite Skyline Wraps the next time you log in!
