The next update for Fortnite is going to focus on the Mandalorians, with Mythic weapons and a new Fortnite Mandalorian skin that’s completely customizable. This sect is one of the most popular parts of Star Wars lore, with breakout characters like Boba Fett among them. As well as being the focus for one of the most popular modern Star Wars outings, the Mandalorian streaming show. This new skin isn’t any specific Mandalorian though, it’s completely customizable.
Players can use the new Mandalorian Fortnite skin to create whatever type of Mando they’re looking for! In the past, we’ve had a few Mandalorian Star Wars skins based around specific bounty hunters. The titular Mandalorian played by Pedro Pascal, and Boba Fett. The new skin is a bit more elaborate though. It has different components that you can mix and match to find the perfect design! It’s been de-encrypted in-game now so we’ve got a proper look at how it’ll work. What do we know about it and when is it coming out?

The next update is due to release one of the most anticipated skins of the season. The new Fortnite Mandalorian skin, a customizable skin like the superhero skins that are favored by sweats. You can create whatever you want. Hopefully, players get a bit more creative than they do with the block color superheroes though. This is what’s coming to the item shop:
- Bundle – All cosmetics, 2,500 V-Bucks
- Mandalorian Skin – 1,800 V-Bucks
- Back Bling – 400 V-Bucks
- Pickaxe – 800 V-Bucks
- Emotes – 300 Each, 2 Total
That’s what Fortnite leakers have uncovered about the skin. Since the design has so many different slots for components, no two versions of it should look alike!

When can we actually pick the skin up? It’s going to release on May 22nd. This is when we expect the new Fortnite update to hit, which is this time going to have a bunch of Mandalorian content. The skin should arrive, but we’ll also see the Mandalorian Mythics from Chapter 2 added back too. A fun sniper rifle with a thermal scope. It’s going to be one of the most exciting additions this season.
