With the release of Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail Patch 7.05, a unique new motorcycle mount was added to FFXIV, the Monowheel S1 mount. A single wheel with a motorized interior, the Monowheel has earned some slightly unfavorable comparisons to a vehicle from certain episode of South Park.
Still, this sought after mount is definitely worth the grind if you want it for your collection. But just how do you unlock the Monowheel S1 mount in FFXIV?
How To Get the Monowheel S1 Mount in FFXIV

The Monowheel S1 mount is a reward for completing the final Savage raid of the first tier of Arcadion raids, AAC Light-heavyweight M4 (Savage), sometimes known as M4S. One copy of the mount’s summoning item will drop when the battle is completed, from one of the chests. The drop rate appears to be 100%, as was the case with Alexander, Omega, Eden, and Pandæmonium.
However, this is an extremely difficult challenge, and will likely need to be tackled by organized parties for now. Unfortunately, only one mount will drop per clear, so thats a few runs at least for everyone to claim the prize.
In the future, it may be possible to pug (play with party finder players) the AAC Light-heavyweight M4 (Savage) fight, but at the time of writing, this was current, level 100 content. Additionally, unlike with Extreme fights, it’s rare a different way of unlocking the mount will ever be available, as

The final fight in the first Arcadion raid tier, AAC Light-heavyweight M4 (Savage) released on July 30, 2024. The battle sees player face off against a savagely difficult version of Wicked Thunder, as she destroys the ring, clones herself, and otherwise makes trouble for her adversaries.
The first completion was recorded by Japanese static GRIND, making them the World First Race winner, although the victory was a close fought thing, with the top-two teams achieving the kill within the span of a single minute.
