This is one fans have begged for every Fortnitemares for a while, and although it may not be tied to the Halloween event, they seem to finally be getting their wish. If the leaks hold true, they won’t have to wait very much longer.

Fortnite x FNAF Could Be Coming Soon Per Latest Leak

According to ShiinaBR, a prominent Fortnite leaker, the Fortnite x FNAF collaboration may come on August 6.

To further assert confidence, they are stating that the official announcement has been revealed as well. On August 5, one day prior to the launch of the crossover and the final update of Chapter 5 Season 3, a FNAF collaboration should be revealed.

This comes on the back of the original leak that the FNAF crossover was actually happening this time. Data miners uncovered that Five Nights at Freddy’s was teasing a secret collaboration on August 6, which coincided with the stated Fortnite update schedule. This seemed like much too big of a coincidence, and that might have been the case.

At about 4 am EST on August 6, the collaboration should launch. Regardless of whether or not it does get officially announced, leaks suggest it’s mere days away from becoming a reality. Fortnite is often partnering with other video games to bring skins and more into the game, and players need only wait four more days to find out if that’s what they’ve done this time. There are two characters already in Fortnite that are akin to the models of FNAF animatronics (Megg and Webster), so it wouldn’t be a surprise.

The timing of each aspect of this is interesting. It all leads to the conclusion that the leaked Five Nights at Freddy’s crossover will finally arrive. However, leaks have to be taken with a grain of salt at all times. Until August 5 when FNAF reveals the collaboration, it’s all purely speculative.
