The new season of Fortnite has a lot for players to explore. When you’re looting, one of the most alluring items has to be the Fortnite Chapter 5 Mythics. These are souped-up weapons, one of a kind across the island (at least for the guns). There are also some really unique items for mobility in the Fortnite C5 Mythics.
If you want to win Fortnite games, having the Mythics is a serious advantage this season. These weapons are much more powerful versions of other guns. Including three amazing one-of-a-kind shotguns and new overpowered versions of mobility items. Each of them is worth seeking out, not to mention the Medallions with special powers you get along with them.
The Fortnite Chapter 5 Mythic guns are concentrated in just a handful of POIs around the map. Although, the other mythic items are a bit easier to find. This is where you can track down each of them.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Mythic Locations
Boss Mythics
Maybe the most common form of Fortnite Chapter 5 Mythics this season are those from boss characters. they’ve had more changes this season though. Now, they’re better spread around the map. Or, they should be. In theory.
The new Bosses this season are limited to three per game. They each have a home POI where they can spawn. However, developers have thrown in some more RNG to grab these Bosses’ goods! Now, they have a chance to spawn in a convoy instead. This is noticeable on the map. You’ll spot the medallion symbol just kind of moving around the roads! These are boss cars with the boss inside flanked by a battle Bus.
That’s the RNG factor this season, but you can find each of the bosses normally in these locations.
The Machinist – Redline Rig
Megalo Don – Brutal Beachhead
The Ringmaster – Nitrodrome
Taking out the bosses will mean you get their weapon, medallion, and Boss Car. These are the Fortnite Chapter 5 Mythics that are available.
The Machinist’s Combat Assault Rifle
Megalo Don’s Combat Shogun and Nitro Fists
The Ringmaster’s Boom Bolt
These are all grouped together when they spawn at their home locations. Since it’s all concentrated in the desert area. However, with them dropping in convoys in a lot of games they can be better spread out.

Mythic Cars
This season the Fortnite Chapter 5 Mythics have gotten even wider, with the release of Fortnite Boss Cars! These aren’t Mythic weapons, but mythic vehicles. Their benefits have already been nerfed a few times this season, but they’re definitely still an improvement. They offer a static set of mods that come fully loaded and with unique skins.
The Boss Cars are also available with medallions in C5 S3. You’ll then need to unlock them like you unlock the vaults in past seasons. These were ridiculously overpowered for the first week of the season. They did get nerfed with a hotfix more recently though. Plus there are tons of different counters in the game now, like the Magneto gloves.
Other Mythics

Those are the core Fortnite Chapter 5 Mythics that you’ll see big symbols for on the map. It’s not all though. There’s a handful of other Mythics out there in the game too. This is how you can unlock each of them.
Hand Cannon – Claim the Rift in POI
Cerberus Gatekeeper Shotgun – Duel Cerberus in Grim gate
Oscar’s Frenzy Shotgun – Duel Oscar in Classy Courts
Jack’s Ship in a Bottle
The next semi-mythic item is Jack’s Ship in a Bottle. It’s the crossover item for the Fortnite Pirates mini pass. It’s a bottle that spawns a Pirate Ship that propels you forward a little, breaking builds as it goes.
You can find this mythic in normal looting locations like chests. However, you can also purchase treasure maps from Pirate NPCs. Each treasure chest you dig up has a guaranteed spawn for this Mythic.
Magneto Gloves

Last, we’ve got the Magneto Gloves. These aren’t quite a mythic though. They actually have the Blue rarity in-game for some reason. Since they basically fill the role of other crossover Mythics though, they’re worth including. You can grab these by landing at Brawler’s Battlefield and buying them, or just in general loot.
What are the Fortnite C5 Mythic Weapons?
This season the Fortnite C5 Mythics are a bit more restrained. At launch, they’re just slightly powerful versions of the base loot. While they do have a stat advantage, their mods often aren’t quite on point. This could mean players with a decent rarity gun end up with a better version by choosing better mods. Although, it’s a nicer way to do the mythics and most don’t come out feeling too overpowered. Even the boss cars are now pretty even thanks to a balance change.
Are the Chapter 5 Mythics in Tournaments?

Are the Fortnite Chapter 5 Mythics going to be in tournaments? So far, the general weapon Mythics are included in the loot pool for Fortnite esports. However, other items are not, just the guns make the cut.
These one-of-a-kind weapons will likely be active in all of the upcoming tournaments. However, the loot pool could change over time.
