Fortnite’s about to begin a new season. The main theme is no surprise after massive leaks earlier in the Chapter, but the details have still been a mystery. That was until this weekend’s big presentation at D23 of what’s coming for Fortnite. The game is getting a lot more Disney content, starting with Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4. What’s been announced about the upcoming season?
For quite a while now, we’ve known the new season would be Marvel themed. Just like Chapter 2 Season 4, it’s returning to the theme of Superheroes. However, the exact line up and other details weren’t known until a livestream over the weekend of a special Fortnite presentation at D23. We’ve got a good look at the new skins that are coming with the next season:

New Skins Coming in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4
The new Fortnite season means a new Battle Pass! One clue as to its contents came with the Fortnite mini-event, where we saw Doctor doom return to the Island. He’s one of just a few Marvel characters showing up though.
Alongside him, we’re getting a Fortnite/Marvel crossover that’s been teased for seasons already. A version of Peely rendered like the Wolverine! It’s a nice homage to the original reveal of the X-Men back in Chapter 2 this version features a more full-on costume though. It’s also somehow the third Wolverine skin in the last few weeks.
Alongside him, we’re getting a new version of Doctor Doom, some X-Men characters in the Fortnite Item Shop (accidentally sold early over the last few days), a Deadpool looking character, an iron man look alike called War Machine, Mysterio, and a new look for Hope. There’s also a version of Jonesy in a Captain America outfit.

It’s nice to see some of Fortnite’s biggest original characters get represented here too! While the season is definitely being dominated by superheroes, we are getting a new Peely and Jones. Although, anyone a little tired of non-stop Superheroes in culture might not have too much reason to grind the Pass this year.
