A few parts of the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 map have already been revealed. Players do have a few more days to visit Restored Reels, The Nitrodome, Brutal Beachhead, and the rest of the POIs on the current map. However, the day when they won’t be able to is rapidly approaching.
As per the leaks, some of the map will likely stay the same, but much of it will change. Ahead of the new season, Epic Games has revealed a couple of teasers for the new and improved island. Here’s what we know.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 Map Partially Revealed
Fortnite posted, and leaker ShiinaBR shared, a teaser for the upcoming Doctor Doom POI. He’s returning after being featured in Chapter 2 Season 4, this time as Ultimate Doom. Unlike last time, this Marvel villain will get his own location. The Chapter 2 Season 4 island featured a location for Tony Stark. This time, Doom gets his own. Ironically, the Tony Stark actor, Robert Downey Jr., will play Doom in a couple of years.
The Latveria POI, which is Doom’s home country in the comics and entirely fictional, features Doom’s Castle and a few other things to explore. The synopsis of this teaser reads, “The heart of Latveria bleeds green.”
It’s currently unclear where the POI will land, but another teaser of the full island might give a clue as to that. In this teaser, the Chapter 5 Season 4 map is mostly shrouded in green gas. The Underworld area and the Mount Olympus section of the map, however, are untouched. Those may stay the same, meaning that Latveria and other new locations will replace places like Brutal Beachhead, The Nitrodome, Classy Courts, or Grand Glacier.
The teasers will likely continue on through this week but don’t expect to see the full map until the trailer drops, if then. It may be unknown until Chapter 5 Season 4, the final season in this chapter, drops on August 16. It will presumably be very Marvel-centric based on the battle pass skins that have been revealed.
