The collaboration between Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) and the famous anime classic, Hunter x Hunter, is making fans from both the game and the anime feel ecstatic. Keeping up its trend of successful anime collaborations, MOONTON could be gearing up to bring one of the most iconic anime franchises into the Land of Dawn.
This collaboration will mark the fifth anime-themed skin crossover in MLBB, following previous partnerships with Jujutsu Kaisen, Saint Seiya, Attack on Titan, and King of Fighters. Therefore, here’s everything known so far about the exciting new crossover.
What We Know About the MLBB x ‘Hunter x Hunter’ Collaboration
Rumors of this collaboration were first teased by several notable data leakers, including Kazuki Gaming. The leak describes that MLBB x Hunter x Hunter will feature a number of exclusive skins inspired by the anime. Four major characters in the anime Hunter x Hunter will have special skins in this game:
Gon Freecss – Dyrroth
Hisoka Morow -Julian
Kura pika – Julian
Killua Zoldyck – Harith
These options show a well-thought-out set of traits in-line with the heroes in MLBB. For example, being fierce and determinate matches Dyrroth’s journey; similarly, Harith’s agility is matched with the quick and fatal skills of Killua.
The announcement caused an avalanche of hype and speculation within the MLBB community, most of whom were very excited to have Gon and Killua join the game. However, reactions toward some of the skin pairings are mixed. Specifically, Hisoka’s pairing with Cecilion, as some fans feel that other heroes might have been a better fit for Hisoka’s unique abilities.
