Some beloved Fortnite items are set to return for Chapter 5 Season 4. Already, Captain America’s Shield and Doctor Doom are parts of previous seasons that have come back, but the latest leak suggests that a couple more popular items are set to return as well. Chapter 5 Season 4 is still young, and Epic likely has plenty of content planned for it. Among that content are two items that fans used to love carrying. Here’s what we know.

Fortnite Items Returning in Future Updates
Epic Games shared the trailer for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 on mobile, which is important since iOS devices will soon be able to play the game again in Europe and the United Kingdom. The trailer highlights what the Absolute Doom season is all about, but it shows off two items that are currently not in the game. The first and less exciting addition is going to be the return of the Cluster Clingers.
These are a slightly reworked version of Clingers, the throwable explosive from the OG days. Instead of just exploding once, they pop into a few pieces and each cluster explodes. This deals a little bit of damage each time. There aren’t many explosive items aside from War Machine’s Arsenal in Chapter 5 Season 4 currently. The Cluster Clingers will make a welcome addition to the pool.
The other addition is much more exciting: the return of the Stark Rifle. This fits right in with the Marvel theme, and it makes sense that Tony Stark/Iron Man would be at least somewhat involved in protecting the island from another threat from his universe. He was instrumental in defeating Galactus, so he’s pitching in against Ultimate Doom, too. This likely means that he will be an NPC on the island as well. Also, it’s possible that Stark Industries returns in some capacity, though likely not as a full POI.
With War Machine’s items, Captain America’s Shield, and now the Stark Industries Rifle, the Marvel Fortnite items are heavily involved in this season. As it progresses, look for more to arrive and bring even more fun gameplay to the island.
