When is the next Fortnite season going to begin? Chapter 5 Season 4 has some really interesting features. There are Superhero powers and mythics, not to mention some of the better additions to the actual guns we’ve had in a long time. There’s a lot to have fun with. Although, it’s another season that’s not too close to traditional gameplay. If you’re looking forward to a more traditional Fortnite season, then the launch of the next big update should be the one for you.
Gameplay is pretty different this season, but Fortnite never sits still for too long. There are always major changes and the next season should be a big departure from the summer’s car gameplay and S4’s superpowers. Each FN season ends up as a major change from what came before. Next up is a return to OG and more classic gameplay. When is the next Fortnite season? If you’re counting down the days, this is how the season-ending will work out.

When is the Next Fortnite Season?
The next Fortnite season is due to start on November 2nd, 2024.
This will be Fortntie OG 2, rather than a full-numbered season. This date comes from the internal Battle Pass end dates in-game. While Epic didn’t previously announce season-end dates at the outset, the Battle Pass expiry is typically when a season ends. They’ve also confirmed this as the likely end date. Since players have to work their way through the pass, it’s helpful to have this timer to know if you’re on pace to actually finish up.
These dates can change around some time though. From time to time seasons get delayed or brought forward. The safest bet is for the update to come on November 2nd. If there’s a delay of a few hours or even a day it could be moved though. Even the most recent seasons got pushed forward by a day. There could be a live event in the lead-up to this end date too.
What Can We Expect Next Season?
That’s when the next Fortnite season is, but what’s actually coming in the update? This will be Fortnite OG 2. We’ve already got a good idea of the content we’re expecting thanks to expansive leaks. These have shown off the entire roadmap for the year.
Next time, we’re expecting Chapter 2 to return. We’ll cycle through 3 or different seasons from he second Chapter before we begin Chapter 6.
The next Fortnite season won’t start up until November.
However, it’s also scheduled to be our last season of Chapter 5 according to the same Fortnite leaks, before we move onto Chapter 6 before the years end. While a lot of players are eagerly awaiting the date when the next season starts, we’ve got limited time to enjoy this map now.
