BetBoom Dacha Belgrade Season 2 has crowned its champions: Team Spirit. It’s the third trophy of 2024 for the team, after their earlier victories at IEM Katowice 2024 and the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024.

This best-of-five final against Eternal Fire was a quick affair for Team Spirit, with the team picking up the win in a clean 3:0 sweep. Here’s how it unfolded.

In this particular series, Eternal Fire simply never got going. They’ve looked solid throughout the rest of BetBoom Dacha Belgrade Season 2, but were thoroughly outclassed by a vastly superior Team Spirit here. All three maps saw respectable scorelines (13-7, 13-8, and 13-9), but it was Team Spirit who were to capture and capitalize upon momentum in crucial moments.

Although some have been concerned by Eternal Fire’s form prior to this event, this was certainly nothing to be worried by. When Spirit are firing like this, they can beat any team in the world. The BetBoom Dacha Belgrade Season 2 crown was never meant to be for Eternal Fire, with Spirit instead picking up the trophy they last won at the back-end of 2023.

Spirit drop just a single map in the tournament

Team Spirit’s final 3:0 win capped off a stellar event for the team, who dropped just a single map all tournament (against MOUZ). This impressive record shows that their IEM Cologne 2024 farce was likely just a tough few days at the office, and it’s great to see Team Spirit back in this kind of scintillating form.

When they’re switched on like this, there’s no better team to watch play Counter-Strike. Both magixx and zont1x were showing some much-needed consistency, while the duo of donk and sh1ro continued to compete in a tight race for the tournament MVP. They were a joy to watch throughout the tournament, and hopefully, they can carry this form straight into ESL Pro League Season 20.
