Our representative Aurora secured a 2-0 victory over TYLOO in their second match at FISSURE Playground 2, advancing to the next stage.
Competing in the 1-0 pool at the event held in Belgrade, Serbia, Aurora once again delivered a flawless performance. They defeated the Chinese side on their own pick, Inferno, and on Aurora’s pick, Mirage, moving one step closer to the playoffs.
Aurora Show Their Big-Team Mentality, Allowing No Chances for TYLOO
Although TYLOO managed to challenge on both maps, Aurora closed things out with their own style of play.
On Inferno, TYLOO started strong in the first half, but Wicadia’s brilliant plays on the T side turned the tide. Despite trailing 4-8 on CT, Aurora powered through with a 9-2 run on the attack to claim the map.
Mirage didn’t look as promising early on, but Aurora’s “big team reflexes” came alive. TYLOO were expected to close the first half with a lead, but Aurora disrupted their rhythm and ended the half tied. The CT side started shaky for Aurora, and hopes seemed to fade. However, Wicadia and jottAAA stepped up with phenomenal plays, flipping the momentum and securing the map 13-11.
Wicadia Shines Bright Against TYLOO
Aurora’s 20-year-old prodigy Wicadia was the standout performer of the match. He racked up 40 kills across both maps, finishing with a 1.50 rating. On Inferno, he posted an impressive +7.12% swing, directly influencing the game’s outcome.
His critical frags and contributions shut down TYLOO’s game plan, preventing them from executing their strategies effectively.
Aurora to Face FURIA Next!
Aurora’s next opponent in the 2-0 pool will be Brazilian squad FURIA. The winner of the matchup will secure direct qualification to the playoffs.
The match is scheduled for September 15, 2025, at 21:30, though the time may be subject to slight changes.
