Our representative Aurora secured a spot in the Grand Final of the Esports World Cup 2025 after defeating Falcons 2-0 in the semi-finals.
With this victory, Aurora advanced to the final stage of the event for the first time since joining the organization. Previously, under the Eternal Fire banner, they had played in the BLAST Bounty Season 1 Finals.
Aurora Storm Through the Maps!
The semi-final kicked off on Inferno, where Aurora made a strong start on the T side. Although Falcons frequently gained player advantages, they couldn’t stop the high form of İsmailcan “XANTARES” Dörtkardeş and Özgür “woxic” Eker. Aurora closed the half with a dominant 9-3 T side performance.
Winning the pistol round on defense, Aurora quickly reached map point. While Falcons managed to grab a few rounds, they couldn’t find a way back, and Aurora closed the first map 13-6.
The second map was Train, where Aurora started hot thanks to a stunning 1v4 clutch from Samet “jottAAA” Köklü. Despite taking a 5-1 lead, Aurora allowed Falcons to recover, and the half ended 7-5 in favor of the Falcons.
In the second half, Falcons won the pistol and took the lead, but a critical 1v3 clutch by captain Engin “MAJ3R” Küpeli and the resulting economic advantage swung the momentum back to Aurora. As Falcons were forced onto weaker buys in the closing rounds, Aurora sealed the map 13-11 and the series 2-0 to book their place in the Grand Final.

Grand Final Opponent: MongolZ!
Aurora will face MongolZ in the Grand Final. MongolZ earned their spot after defeating Vitality 2-1 in the semi-finals.
In 2025, Aurora have faced MongolZ four times, managing only one victory, while MongolZ claimed the other three encounters convincingly.
The Grand Final will be played on Sunday (24.08.2025) at 13:00. The best-of-five series will be broadcast in Turkish by Root, imoRR, and Arhaval.
