The BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 is kicking off on June 3, which means that it’s time for us CS2 fans to play the traditional Pick’Em Challenge and chase that special Diamond Coin.

Even if you don’t purchase the BLAST.tv Austin Major Viewer Pass, you can still make your picks and compete with your friends, for example.

The Austin Major Pick’Ems work as all the other past CS Majors:

During the group phase, you must pick two teams that will advance to the next stage with a 3-0 record.

Six teams that will advance with a 3-1 or 3-2 record, and two teams that will be eliminated with a 0-3 record.

When the playoffs start, they must determine which teams will advance to the grand finals and choose the winner.

Without further ado, here are our picks for the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Stage 1.

  • HEROIC are, on paper, the best CS2 team in the BLAST.tv Austin Major Stage 1. So, predicting that they will advance with a 3-0 record is a no-brainer, almost.
  • BetBoom aren’t as solid as HEROIC, however, they had comfortable matchups in our simulation. We’re also betting on the experience that Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhaylov and Sergey “Ax1Le” Rykhtorov have, in contrast to most of the other teams in this stage.
  • In our simulation, Complexity, Metizport, B8, OG, Nemiga, and Imperial were the teams that qualified for Stage 2 with a 3-1 or 3-2 record.
  • Meanwhile, Asian teams Chinggis Warriors and TYLOO are strong picks for a 0-3 elimination.

While we believe our picks, you can also simulate your results over at the trusty Majors.im website, in case you want to change one pick or two.

You have until June 3, when the opening round of Stage 1 begins, to confirm your picks in the game.

This is it for now, but return here once the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Stage 1 concludes, to check our picks for Stage 2.
