Fans Can Vote For Favorite Player

The Fan Favorite Award allows the public to vote for their favorite player of the year. In 2025, the candidates include Kscerato (Furia), Bops (Fluxo), Bstrdd (MiBR), MT7 (Fluxo), and Sato (Leviatán).

Bstrdd is the only non-Brazilian player on the list, hailing from Chile. Kscerato, however, has talked about the need for Brazilian teams to recruit players from overseas. Furia has signed up Mareks “YEKINDAR” Galinskis and Daniel “molodoy” Golubenko.

In comments to Esports.net earlier this year, Kscerato stated, “It’s about seizing opportunities. If you are given one, you have to f**king take it. We signed molodoy because he was owning us in practice.”

Betano Crowned Operator Of The Year In Brazil

Last month, Betano won an award of its own as the company, operated by Kaizen Gaming, was crowned operator of the year at the inaugural EGR Latam Awards.

Upon winning the accolade, Guilherme Figueiredo, Kaizen Gaming Commercial Director Brazil, said: “Winning ‘Operator of the Year – Brazil’ at the inaugural EGR Latam Awards is a great honour and a powerful validation of our long-term strategic focus and commitment to the market.”

Betano was one of the first betting platforms to gain certification under Brazil’s regulated sports betting industry. New regulations came into force in January of this year, and lawmakers have been refining the framework since then.

There have been proposals to tighten restrictions, including raising the betting age to 18 to 21 years old. Additionally, lawmakers approved a new tax rate of 18% on gambling, up from the current 12%.
