BLAST is heading stateside with the first iteration of BLAST Rivals in 2026. The CS2 tournament organizer has confirmed that BLAST Rivals 2026 Season 1 will be held in North America, confirming a return to the region following next month’s BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.

BLAST Rivals 2026 Season 1 continues global event trend for the TO
The first edition of BLAST Rivals finished just a few days ago, with Team Vitality being crowned champions. The event was held in Copenhagen’s BLAST Studios, after initially being planned to take place in Monterrey, Mexico. The next edition will be held in East Asia in November, although an exact location has yet to be confirmed by the tournament organizer.

In heading back to North America between April 27th and May 2rd next year, BLAST Rivals will truly establish itself as a global event. The current format pits the four best CS2 teams in the world against the four best from each region, with wildcard invites extended to one team from Europe, Asia, North America, and South America.
In its statement confirming the North America location for BLAST Rivals 2026 Season 1, the organizer also revealed that more information will be revealed “soon,” although it is not yet ready to divulge any more details about the event.
