A brand-new Doom game has just released! Which means some players are wondering if the character is coming back to Fortnite. Doom Guy’s doom-slaying exploits in the Dark Ages looks like a lot of fun, but what about the Fortnite skin? Doom Guy is the protagonist of the series and has been in Fortnite since Chapter 4, however, he isn’t the type of skin which can come back a lot
The normal Doom Guy skin is locked away. However, for skins like him that are inaccessible, players do often end up with an alternative skin. A version of the character which is unique enough, so players can still buy them. The Dark Ages game could be the perfect opportunity for Doom Guy to get another Fortnite skin.

Original Doom Guy Fortnite skin
The Doom Guy Fortnite skin is already in the game, in some ways. Doom Slayer, or Doom Guy, was added in Chapter 4 Season 1. Not quite a skin which entirely matched the theme for the Battle Pass. But it was great to get a Gaming Legends skin without having to splash out V-Bucks.
Doom Guy arrived back in Chapter 4. As a Battle Pass skin, he came with extra items like a glider of a Demon. Along with a number of other styles, showing off the different armor you can use.
The Doom Guy Fortnite skin has a fun reactive feature too. As you aim, the little shoulder aiming arm pops up. Really helping to make Doom Guy feel like the source material.

Is There a New Style Coming?
Right now, there’s no leaks about a new Doom Guy. This new game does open things up though. We might see this version of the character get a skin eventually. However, there’s no reason to think is in the works. Unfortunately, but with the new release there’s plenty of Doom to keep fans busy.
One thing that could complicate things is rights. The Fortnite Gaming Legends skins often don’t come back very often due to rights hold ups. It was possible to get Doom Guy in the game in the first place, but as we’ve seen with other collabs things can change. Other Microsoft owned skins like Master Chief returned recently too. Hopefully, there’s still potential for another Doom Guy skin in the future. Outside of Doom Guy himself, there aren’t many other characters who would fit a skin, so a different version of the character would be the easiest addition.
