Clash Royale Season 71-Undead March-is finally here as of May 5, 2025. All the spooky fun runs until June 2. If you’re Arena 11 or above, buckle up: there’s a fresh skeleton theme, some neat new mechanics, community-wide goals, and a stack of events, challenges and tournaments. I’ll try to keep this quick, but you don’t want to miss a thing.

Clash Royale May 2025: Events, Challenges, and Tournaments
Witch Evolution
First off, the biggie: the Witch Evolution card. Basically, every time one of her skeletons bites the dust, she heals up a bit. Kind of grim, but effective. You don’t need to buy anything. The card is in the free rotation, and you can use it in the ladder, all the new modes, and Challenges.
Along with her arrival, the Clash Royale May balance update (including reworks) will go live as the new season starts.
Undead March Trail
Between May 6 and 13 there’s the Undead March Trail, a 15-step ladder where you pick from a 40-card pool of undead-themed items. Hit each step and you get:
- 6 Bomber Evolution Shards
- 3 Dart Goblin Evolution Shards
- 1 Rare Book of CardsPlus some exclusive banners and emotes. It’s honestly the quickest way to stock up those Shards if you’re chasing upgrades.
Seasonal Events & Milestones in Clash Royale Undead March Season
Every week brings a new event, each one handing out a Battle Banner frame, decoration and an emote. But layered on top of that are four milestone windows and a never-ending Boneheads’ Brawl community goal (May 5-June 2). Here’s how it shakes out:
- Boneheads’ Brawl: Everybody’s skeleton kills add up. Hit the big shared thresholds, and you unlock the free Witch Evolution tower skin, a Battle Banner, and all those Bomber & Dart Goblin Shards.
- Milestones (in parallel): Over the four windows you can earn a total of 6 Bomber Shards, 3 Dart Goblin Shards, and 1 Rare Book of Cards-just by meeting the goals.

Weekly Challenges & Global Tournaments
- Week 1 (May 5-12): Witch Evolution Draft-draft decks around the new Witch.
- Week 2 (May 12-19): Disturbed Graves-expect graveroom-heavy skeleton swarms.
- Week 3 (May 19-26): Hexed Havoc-chaos and dark magic everywhere.
- Week 4 (May 26-June 2): Dark Elixir-elixir-boosted surprises to cap off the season.
Plus, two Global Tournaments:
- Standard (May 10-14) for classic deck tests
- Mega Draft (May 24-28) if you’re into shared-pool drafting drama
The Clash Royale League (CRL) 2025 tournament was announced recently, culminating in a $500,000 prize pool.
Pass Royale & Shop Cosmetics
If you grab Pass Royale, you unlock the Tier X Witch Evolution tower skin, the “Witch Evolution Scary Shadow” emote, and a bunch of extra Gold, Gems and Shards. Otherwise, the shop’s got the Barebones tower skin for 10 000 Gold, a handful of skeleton emotes, and new Battle Banners you can buy with Gold or Gems.
Balance Carryovers
Some April tweaks stick around: Arrows hit a bit smaller (4 → 3.5 tiles), The Log’s tower damage is lower (58 → 44), and Cannon fires slower (0.9 s → 1.0 s).
