One of the latest quests to come with the Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean collab is to find Davy Jones Locker in Fortnite. These quests have had a few that stumped players, but they’ve been mainly easy to figure out. Jack’s ship isn’t exactly hard to miss. What about this new spot though? Where is Davy Jones Locker in Fortnite?

We’re coming to the end of the Pirates collab this week. We’re getting our final batch of quests and the heat is on to get them finished up. Davy Jones locker is one more vague quest, while we finish the final stage of the pass. How can you find it and what do you need to do once you get there?

Where is Davy Jones Locker in Fortnite?

Looking through the current Pirates quests for the Cursed Sails pass, one of them is a bit irritating right now. The Davy Jones locker Fortnite quest. This one doesn’t have a quest marker. Typically for these location-dependent ones, you’ll get a marker on your map but this one is missing it.

If you’ve struggled to find the Davy Jones locker in Fortnite, heading to the sea or the character’s NPC might be your first bet. The Underworld could be it too, after all that’s just another place those who die go. However, you don’t actually need to visit anywhere on the map.

To visit Davy Jones Locker, all you need to do is die.

When you die in-game, you’ll “go to Davy Jones locker”. It’s a fun quest that twists expectations, but it is a little obtuse at first look.

How Do You Need to Die?

The quest will auto complete once you die. Is there a specific death you need to have for it to work though? In the franchise this collab is from, you’d need to die at sea. However, in Fortnite it’s different. Any death will work.
Of course, if you want to get this done right away, there’s always a simple method to die in Fortnite:

Jump into a normal game

Build up to fall distance height or land on top of a higher spot like a mountain

Jump off the edge

You’ll die to fall damage and go to Davy Jones Locker in Fortnite! This is a bit of a waste of a game though. Any round where you don’t win Fortnite will count for this quest, so you don’t have to do a special game if you don’t win every single round.
