At the end of this month, Dragon Age The Veilguard will come out. It’s available on a wide variety of platforms, one of which is PC. If you have a PC, it is often not the same as many others. The interior build may be different, and each one can have different processing power. Since that’s the case, here are the system requirements so you can know if your device will run the exciting upcoming game.
Dragon Age The Veilguard System Requirements
Here are the official minimum requirements per the EA website. These are what your PC needs to have to run the game at all:
- OS: Windows 10/11 64-bit
- Processor: Intel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 3 3300X* (see notes)
- Memory: 16GB
- Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 970/1650 / AMD Radeon R9 290X
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 100GB available space
The developers noted that SSD is preferred, the game does support HDD, and AMD CPUs on Windows 11 require AGESA V2 1.2.0.7.
Recommended Specs for Dragon Age The Veilguard
Those above are the minimum requirements for your device to be able to load Dragon Age, but it doesn’t mean the game will be optimized or even run particularly well. Fortunately, EA has provided another set of specs that will allow the game to run at a much better speed and power:
- OS: Windows 10/11 64-bit
- Processor: Intel Core i9-9900K / AMD Ryzen 7 3700X (see notes)
- Memory: 16GB
- Graphics: NVIDIA RTX 2070 / AMD Radeon RX 5700XT
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 100GB SSD available space
EA also noted for this one that SSD is not preferred but required and that AMD CPUs on Windows 11 once again require AGESA V2 1.2.0.7. These Dragon Age The Veilguard system requirements and recommendations are solely for PC. The game is also available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The requirements do not matter to them.
Those platforms, which are current-gen and as powerful as consoles can be right now, are static. Their internal processors and everything else don’t change. Therefore, if and when you purchase the game for those platforms, they will run on the console without any issues.
