One of the more painful quests in Fortnite right now tasks you with defeating a boss in the game. Not the easiest task, but there are some methods you can use to get it done a bit quicker. A way to easily defeat a Boss in Fortnite.
There are a few different types of bosses in the game at the moment. Even with the Medallion Bosses who drop the Chapter 5 Mythics, there are two different ways to approach them. One is an invitation to get third-partied, and the other is a way to easily defeat a boss in Fortnite. How can you get this quest done as simply as possible?
How to Easily Defeat a Boss in Fortnite
There are a few different ways to defeat a Boss in Fortnite, but two are much simpler. Both the Broadcast Tower bosses and Medallion bosses count towards quests. For the Medallion Bosses, it’s often simpler to have a go at a convoy rather than their spot on the map.
This season, bosses can spawn in their home POIs or in a traveling convoy. These convoys are marked on the map so you can still land on them. They also happen to travel with a lot of firepower you can use to take the boss out. A method to easily defeat a boss in Fortnite that’s been popular since the season launched is to land directly on a convoy. This is how it works.
Land on top of the Battle Bus following the Boss car
Use your pickaxe to kill one grunt on the weapon turrets
Take over his turret
Drill the car in front with explosives until you destroy the boss’s shield

The boss will get out of the car, you can then fire on them directly
If the Battle Boss gets too low in health, Jump down and into the turret of the boss car
Both provide protection while you quickly melt off the boss’ health
They’ll die and drop the medallion
This method is a way to grab a Medallion right off of spawn, no looting is required. It cuts down on third partying and speeds everything up.

That’s one way to kill a boss character, but there are alternatives. You can also use the broadcast tower bosses. These spawn mid-game and are a bit easier to kill. They still count towards the quest too.
Outside of these, another method is to just do it the old-fashioned way. Head through to a Fortnite POI with a boss there, like Brutal Beachead where you find Megalo Don in Fortnite, and take the fight. This is the same way to kill bosses that players have been using since Chapter 2.
The alternative methods make it easier to defeat a boss in Fortnite. However, if you want to do it through a standard POI this works too. Keep in mind the Nitrodrone boss won’t spawn until later in the game though.
