The Elden Ring Nightreign release date is May 30 across all platforms. At the time of writing this article, there are no planned early access versions of the game. With this being more of an online experience rather than the traditional single-player game, you would have thought that early access would have been available for Elden Ring Nightreign.
Platforms
Because this is a multiplayer game, the developers have put out all the stops to ensure Elden Ring Nightreign is played on as many platforms as possible since its release date! Players on the PlayStation and current-gen Xbox consoles had the opportunity to apply for testing of the game in January, ensuring that the game is in good condition for the newest generation of gaming consoles. Surprisingly, the game will also be shipped out to the older consoles, such as the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. Normally, developers do not want to divide the resources between the newer generation and the older generation consoles. According to the Steam page, this game, unfortunately, will not have cross-platform support.

Details
As stated above, this is more to be played as a multiplayer game rather than doing solo. You can play Elden Ring Nightreign solo, but you’re much better off teaming up with friends and preparing for the endgame boss-just like in all the best Souls-like games where group play is an option.

If you’re a big fan of the shrinking map aspect from classic battle royale games such as Fortnite, PUBG, and Warzone, then you’re going to like this for Elden Ring Nightreign. According to the developers, the game features a shrinking portion of the map that resets after players are able to defeat one of the minor bosses in that area.
