Coming off the heels of the Esports World Cup 2024 Semi-Finals, both G2 and NAVI have impressed in different ways. G2’s dominant win over Virtus.pro showed exactly what this team are capable of, while NAVI’s comeback against MOUZ required a ton of mental resilience. That’s why this is so tough to call.
Looking at the two rosters, their star AWPers are the clear standouts. Both m0NESY and w0nderful are blessed with the gift of winning CS2 matches all by themselves, and either one could be the difference maker here. We’re giving the edge here to m0NESY, who looks like the best CS2 player in the world right now, but don’t count out the impact w0nderful can have on a match.

Another deciding factor will be down to the supporting players around the star AWPers. NAVI will look to b1t and iM to find impact from tough spots, while G2 will hope for the same from malbsMd and huNter-. Both teams have star riflers in jL and NiKo, but it’ll be the supporting cast that can separate a match on a knife’s edge. Once again, we believe G2’s firepower is superior in this regard.
