Esports World Cup App: Everything you need to know

The Esports World Cup 2024 kicked off on July 4 and is set to happen until Aug. 25 at the Boulevard Riyadh City in Saudi Arabia. Backed by the Saudi government, the tournament features a total prize pool of $60 million – the largest in esports history for a single tournament.

While we are already halfway through the 2024 edition of the tournament, the ECWF might have launched the mobile application a bit late. However, with the Esports World Cup set to be a recurring series, it’s a welcome addition for players to know all about it through one application.

With more than 19 games and many more events, including a $20 million Club Championship in 2024, having a central location for all information will be handy for esports fans.

The application will cater to all the needs of the fan, with some of the features listed as follows:

Centralized information hub
Live Streams
Club Championship

Additionally, in its release, the Esports World Cup Foundation said the application will offer monetization opportunities as well. It seems like the foundation plans to allow fans to engage with sponsors directly through the application itself, therefore opening doors for more revenue-generation opportunities. Of course, that depends on how the application is received by fans.
