Esports World Cup Foundation’s Club Partner Program Was Launched In 2023

This program was initially launched in 2023, and in 2024, it included 30 teams in total. Out of these, 22 were directly invited while 8 were admitted out of an application process. In 2024, the focus was mostly on European teams.

Now, in 2025, the program is being expanded even further with 40 teams in total. The expanded program has continued increased focus on China with six teams while bringing clubs from growing regions like Latin America, Japan, and India.

What Incentives Will The 40 Teams In The EWCF Club Partner Program

Based on the official website for the program, each club is entitled to a six-figure base funding to grow their organizations.

This isn’t all as teams can receive extra funding through “different activities, campaigns and bounties, leading up to EWC 2025, based on merit and metrics.”

The EWC 2025 will happen in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia across the summer.

Just because a club has been selected in the partner program doesn’t mean that they will be getting a slot in the Esports World Cup, where more than 20 games will be hosting tournaments including prominent titles like Apex Legends, Free Fire, Call of Duty, CS2, Dota, PUBG, VALORANT, and more.
