Falcons vs. G2 Final Preview
Although fans have enjoyed plenty of upsets throughout PGL Bucharest 2025, the Grand Final between FaZe and G2 comes as little surprise to most. While many expected more from The MongolZ and Aurora, Falcons and G2 were two teams most would not have been shocked to see go all the way pre-tournament.

Predictions for the PGL Bucharest Final
Coming into the Final of PGL Bucharest, the CS2 odds have G2 down as big favorites to pick up their first trophy win of the year. While I agree that G2 are favorites here, the lopsided odds could represent great value if Falcons can pull off what would only be a small upset.
Falcons have the same issue that Complexity faced in the PGL Bucharest Semi-Final. G2’s m0NESY factor is extremely difficult to counter, with the young AWPer proving why Falcons seem to be on the verge of signing him ahead of the BLAST Austin Major. If Falcons can’t find a way to nullify his threat, then it’s hard to see how they can win, even if NiKo is in top form.

With the PGL Bucharest Final being best-of-five, the map pool is fairly simple in this one. G2 will ban Train, and Falcons will ban Anubis, two of each other’s best maps. From there, it’s going to be a total bloodbath, with the two teams sharing similar strengths elsewhere. Falcons will look to play Nuke as soon as possible in the series, while G2 will likely trust their Dust2.
Again, it’s fair to say that G2 are favorites here, but the value in Falcons makes them an interesting choice as overall winners.
