FlyQuest have become one of the most well-known fighting game teams, especially in light of performance in recent events. They’re parlaying that increased hype into an upcoming event, the FlyQuest 2XKO Invitational. A new tournament featuring the most hyped new fighting game.
At the moment, 2XKO is in the midst of early access and beta testing. It’s been fun to see the game shaping up. However, we’re beginning to see more 2XKO fighting game esports tournaments too. Earlier this month we saw a community tournament announced, and now FlyQuest will be hosting their own tournament. This will be a huge invitational featuring some of the best fighting game players.

FlyQuest 2XKO Invitational
The next invitational event is being organized by FlyQuest, one of the bigger competitive teams in fighters right now. This event is starting up on August 8th, pretty short notice! However, they’ve managed to bring in some of the biggest names in the genre.
This tournament will be taking place as part of the Alpha Labs testing. Just like the 2XKO Invitational, we’re going to see some established players taking part in a smaller contained tournament in the early access of the game. Some of the players announced so far include players like SonicFox, Umisho, VoiD, and others. Quite a few more than the upcoming 2XKO Exhibition.

These players count as some of the best in different fighting games. 2XKO is still being tested out, but events like this are showing there’s loads of interest in playing it competitively. We’ll be moving toward proper release soon too. There’s some early access still planned, but the release should be coming up in 2025. In the lead-up to the full release, we might see even more events get held.
The FlyQuest 2XKO Invitational is a one-off event, but hopefully more will take place while it’s in early access. These tournaments definitely show why it’s one of the most anticipated fighting games right now.
