The FNCS Global Championship 2025 is set to be one of the biggest esports events of the year. A new tournament which will see the best players from across Chapter 6 together in a single in-person lobby. It’s always exciting to see this year, its where new champions are made. However, with recent rumours the lobby might be held in a different place this year.

The FNCS Global Championship 2025 will be an in-person event. In previous years, we’ve seen these events held in differing locations. The biggest event in Fortnite esports is the FNCS. It’s held seasonally. But with each Major, the top players from each region secure a spot for the FNCS Global Championship. The international Lan at the end of the year. Epic holds in-person events kind of infrequently, so where they’re hosted is always a big deal.

Last year, the event was in Fort Worth. Which had been the home to a new Fortnite server that year. In the year prior, it was held in Copenhagen. It seems in 2025 it’ll be held in France. These are just rumors at the moment, but popular Fortnite leakers have hinted at it too. France would definitely be a fitting host city for the event. With Europe arguably the largest region for competitive Fortnite, having another one based in the continent makes plenty of sense.

At the moment, we’re still building up to the first Major of the year for Fortnite. It’s going to be a chance to see how players adjust to the different meta for this season, like the quick-killing guns and much different style of map. The FNCS Divisional Cups are still underway, but we’re already seeing some players dominate in the new Chapter. We’ll likely see some of these players making it to the end of the year and the FNCS Global Championship 2025.
