The next live event is nearly here, and we’ll see the Fortnite Death Star live event teasers starting up pretty soon. There’s already been quite a bit of activity in some of the portals on the map. But the proper live event teasers are tied to a community goal in the game. Players need to surpass a certain goal collectively, then we’ll get the Fortnite live event teasers.
With only a week to go until the season ends, there isn’t a whole lot going on in-game. Players are messing around with the Star Destroyer transformation, and how to counter it. But other than that, we’ve just got the Star Wars content to play with. Outside of the game though, there is something to work towards. Players will need to work through the current challenges on Twitch if they want to see the event teasers:

Fortnite Death Star Live Event Teasers Coming with Community Goal
Right now, a special promotion is going on for Fortnite on Twitch! It’s a campaign which lets players unlock free Galactic Battle Twitch Drops using a new extension. Players don’t get the drops for watch time. Instead, they need to actually interact. Each time players do this, they’ll contribute towards a new community goal. Once that goal is hit there’s an extra reward coming for them with a loading screen, but also a teaser for the Fortnite live event.
We’re already most of the way there with this goal. Players only have a few more Twitch drops to claim before the Fortnite Death Star live event teasers will be released. It’ll be a little hint to what’s coming when we get to the event so keep an eye out.

Portal Already Getting Active
While the big teasers haven’t been revealed yet, there is a smaller one already happening in-game. For most of Chapter 6, ends of seasons have seen the portals around the map activate. For the first season this was a tie in to the live event. The second season’s portals didn’t really lead anywhere, but they’re up and running once again. We could see this tie into the new Fortnite Death Star live event as a teaser! But it’s the community goal one that’s probably going to give us a better look at what’s coming on June 7th.
