Chapter 6 Season 2 has introduced Fortnite Golden Llamas to the mix. Like regular Loot Llamas, these are rare. They’re also different from the norm, and in fitting fashion, they’re heavy on the gold. The in-game currency is very valuable in the heist-themed season. It’s always a good idea to find these llamas, but especially so since players have to search three for a Week 3 quest. Here’s where you can find them.

All Fortnite Golden Llamas Locations

Unfortunately, Fortnite Golden Llamas can span anywhere. They’re just like the regular Loot Llamas, so there is no set location to find them. It requires a bit of luck on your part, but three spawn in a given game. You can look around for them every time, but there’s no specific place to go in Fortnite to ensure a spawn.

There are three things you can do to make this easier, though. First, you can drive around the map in a car. This is the best and quickest way to traverse the map, and it gives you the best chance of finding a llama.

Second, you can use a Rocket Drill to move around a little faster than walking speed. You can sprint, but the Rocket Drill will be faster and it’ll help you find the llamas sooner. The Kneecapper and Sub-Zero’s Kombat Kit will also help you move quicker to cover more ground.

Finally, you can use launchpads, which may be the best way to scout them. If you load up on launch pads, you can spend most of the game in the air, and it’s much easier to spot the Golden Llamas in Fortnite from above.

These can be tricky to spot, but there’s a tell-tale golden glow around them, so if you see something like that, it’s one of the llamas. If you do find one, it’s not just a challenge that will be aided. You will get 1,000 bars, four golden splashes, and a lot of ammo, and there is a chance to collect a Dill Bit, giving you the currency needed to get the best loot in the game, including Mythics like the Pump & Dump Shotgun.
