The Fortnite OG Season 2 map will re-introduce one of the most iconic POIs ever brought to the game, Tilted Towers. However, beyond that, we’re getting quite a few new additions. In the build-up to the OG Season 2 launch, Epic has confirmed it’s all coming on the first day. The additions would be spread through a few updated, but the map will get everything all at once! Tilted Towers, Shifty Sands, we’re going to see some major changes in the next update.

The Fortnite Chapter 1 map as most players remember it really takes form in Season 2. After all, the original map always looked a bit strange without Tilted on it. However, those other early copy-and-paste POIs are getting replaced with better locales too. It’s this version of the map most imagine when thinking back to the earliest Fortnite season. We’re getting all these changes coming at once.

Fortnite OG Season 2 Map has been revealed ahead of the full launch of the season. As this is an OG season, it is a bit of a different build-up than a normal new season. We know exactly what’s coming already. With the only real surprise being the timings. We’re getting Fortnite OG Season 2 map all in place from the beginning.

The big appeal of the new map is going to be Tilted Towers. The huge urban area that became iconic to Fortnite. The POI is one of the biggest on the OG map and densest. This combined with its central location, made for a guaranteed hot drop. Half the lobby heads to Tilted or its abundant loot and the ease of fighting early-game fights. It’ll likely remain a focal point for the whole of OG Season 2 run.

That’s not the only POI getting reintroduced though. The launch of the OG Season 2 map is bringing in the heavily altered left side of the map, with Haunted Hills, Junk Junction, and Snobby Shores. However, it’s also adding Shifty Shafts. The new map is much more fleshed out for Battle Royale play than the one from Season 1. When taken with the upcoming Fortnite OG weapons changes, it looks like it’ll be a much more interesting mode for this season.
