The Fortnite Reload loot pool has been changed around once again! This week a minor hotfix has been pushed out to Fortnite. Not much has changed in Battle Royale, but in the Reload mini-Battle Royale that has been running for nearly a year now, we’ve gotten another refresh in the loot pool. While it isn’t quite the scale of a new map update, getting major changes to the weapons available can completely change the way Reload is played.
Reload now has a second map, but across both we get a set of Fortnite Reload guns. These weapons are the best of past Fortnite seasons, or at least a selection of them depending on your opinion. While Battle Royale is pushing things to new territory, sometimes fun sometimes not, Reload is more of a classic experience. Utilizing the core gunplay mechanics with the better weapons we’ve in the past.
A good number of older weapons have recently been unvaulted. From one of the best healing and rotation tools we’ve ever seen, to some stranger picks for weapons. These are the recent changes to the Fortnite Reload loot pool.

Fortnite Reload Loot Pool Changes This Week
A group of new weapons have been introduced into the Fortnite Reload loot pool this week! However, it’s a mixture of the fun weapons players might have missed, and some that have had a bit more polarizing of a reaction. These are the new additions:
- The Dub Pistol
- Heavy Shotgun
- Flowberry Fizz
- SMG
- LMG
- Sniper Rifle
Looking at the reaction to these new additions, there’s one item which seems to have been the focus. The LMG. Fortnite’s Light Machine Gun isn’t often seen. It’s a weapon which shoots fast and does okay damage. It’s one of the most fun to use, but isn’t exactly regarded as a high skill weapon. It’ll be interesting to see how it plays in Reload. Although, it’s the most controversial of the Reload loot pool changes.
Elsewhere, we have some fun additions. The Flowberry Fizz is a fantastic item with multiple uses. Then we’ve got weapons like the Heavy Shotgun, which has its fans even if it’s a bit strange to use. These fresh additions should keep things fun in the Fortnite Reload loot pool for a while.
