In the recent update, we’ve learned a bit about what’s coming up to Fortnite, including an exciting Fortnite X Kaiju No 8 crossover that could be launching later this season.
After the most recent Fortnite update, we’ve got a good look at a few upcoming collabs and crossovers. A few unreleased skins have been added into the data and files for Fortnite. One of the most exciting is the next anime collab, which looks set to be Kaiju No 8.

This new collab would be our first crossover with an anime in a while, outside of new waves for series already in the game. Fortnite X Kaiju No 8 would be a new inclusion though. For a while, we’ve been expecting a Fortntie X Demon Slayer collab to come next. However, if the files are anything to go by then Kaiju No 8 could be arriving next instead. With the game featuring a few different Kaiju in the game already this season, it makes sense to bring this franchise in now.

Fortnite X Kaiju No 8 Leaks
In the most recent update, dataminers have got to work seeking out different Fortnite collabs that could be coming soon. Both ShiinaBR and HypeX on Twitter have found a hint of Kaiju No 8 coming soon. They’ve found a pickaxe in the files, which looks pretty safely like a Kaiju No 8 related item, presumably to match a skin that’ll be sold in the future.

These leaks also involve a new encrypted set. These slots for the item store are new skins and bundles that can be cycled in. While the exact contents are currently encrypted and unviewable, we know a few new bundles are coming soon. It would seem one of these is to go with Kaiju No. 8. Meaning the new collab is probably closer to release!
Out of the Fortnite collabs we’ve had, anime ones have proven quite popular. Kaiju No.8 is a great series with tons of potential for a Fortnite collab. While we only have the pickaxe to go off right now, we’ll probably hear more about what skins are coming soon.
