Gaimin Gladiators, particularly co-founder Joseph “Heklr” Turner, is facing heavy backlash after his posts regarding over a former player.

The posts, of course, are about Anton “dyrachyo” Shkredov, the former hard carry player of Gaimin Gladiators, who the team kicked after a runner-up finish at the International 2024 (TI13).

Gaimin Gladiators’ co-founder rants about Dyrachyo

To shed some light on how the whole Dyrachyo x GG drama, there’s seemingly bad blood between Dyrachyo and his former teammates in GG since his ‘kick’. Apparently, the player had told his fans on his Telegram group that he was kicked from GG. However, according to GG’s co-founder Joseph Turner, who goes by his nickname, Heklr, stated that the player willingly left instead.

At this point, the back-and-forth feud could have halted here without any further repercussions to any side, but Heklr unexpectedly pursued further with a negative rant about Dyrachyo.

During his livestream, the co-founded added how the player never participated in draft or replay reviews. Furthermore, he also spent time doing Russian media and drinking, while also claiming he wants to play with Russians. As such, GG released him without any penalty, only for him to spread lies on his Telegram fan group about GG kicking him instead.

Gaimin Gladiators kicked dyrachyo for this

Fast forward to the highly-anticipated match between Gaimin Gladiators versus Tundra Esports, where Dyrachyo is currently playing for. The latter defeated his former teammates with his new team with ease. In his post-match interview, Dyrachyo states his satisfaction watching Gaimin’s first loss after he was ‘kicked’ but did not really bother too much afterwards, expressing that he has moved on from his past feud with his ex-teammates.

However, he did add that he finds it pitiful that GG put their new player, Alimzhan “watson” Islambekov, in the spotlight during loser’s interview.

GG’s co-founder tweets about Dyrachyo

After their loss, Heklr took it to X to call out Dyrachyo again, calling him and Tundra Esports a team that exploits bugs. He went on to seemingly call Dyrachyo an ‘influencer’ who never leaves his house. What’s more intriguing is that he ended his tweet with a statement that he has receipts.

It didn’t take long before Heklr deleted his post and X account altogether. Clearly, such a rant is going to paint Gaimin Gladiators in a negative light for fans and sponsors, so it’s absurd to see the co-founder write this publicly without considering the PR consequences.

Reputation aside, many are also speculating that Gaimin players might also have exploited the Dota 2 smoke bug. So Heklr would be a hypocrite for calling out Tundra Esports when his own team might have abused the same bug.

Anyhow, it’s not a good look for the two-time TI grand finalist as the team’s performance and reputation go downhill since TI13. As for Dyrachyo, he apppears to be moving on to pursue greater heights with his new team, Tundra Esports.
