Obsidian in Lego Fortnite is a pretty important material. It’s useful for the later-game builds, not something you’ll initially need when you set up a new Lego Fortnite world. To get this you’ll already need to know how to get flexwood in Lego Fortnite. Once you’ve crafted one, you need to go to the Dry Valley Lego biome.

Once there, you need to track down a cave. To be safe inside, players need to have some form of heat resistance too. Once you’re there, you need to look for rocks with purple bits on them. These are the Obsidian sources in Lego Fortnite!

To get obsidian in Lego Fortnite, you’ll need to head to these rocks and mine them. It might take a little while to get enough of it. However, if you’ve stocked up on cooling items or armor, you’ll be able to mine more than enough here. Once back in your village, you’ll be able to process the obsidian into slabs and start using it to build even better tools. Although, heading back to the Dry Valley might be annoying until fast travel is added to Lego Fortnite.
