Rockstar Games has just given us our second full look at GTA VI as their second trailer for the game was revealed. Showcasing main character’s Lucia and Jason, the trailer dropped on Rockstar Games’ YouTube channel on April 6.
Alongside new story beats, some absolutely incredible visuals, and showcasing the world we’ll be spending our time in in GTA 6, the trailer also revealed the names of the main characters of GTA VI.

GTA 6 Trailer 2 Unveils Character Details and Jaw-Dropping Visuals
We’ve linked it below, but in case you haven’t seen it, the latest GTA VI trailer is absolutely breathtaking visually. Fully immersing us in the Miami-like world of Leonida, we get to see Jason, one of the assumed protagonists, doing some odd jobs before picking up Lucia, the other main character, from prison.
The remainder of the Trailer showcases Lucia and Jason’s life post prison release as the pair work to make something of themselves. However, clearly crime is a little too appealing as there’s plenty of police chases, gunplay, and other antics on display.
GTA VI Main Character Names Revealed
Revealed in the trailer, the main character’s names are Lucia Caminos and Jason Duvall. These characters, as many assumed from previous trailers and teasers, are a couple, and the game will follow their relationship.
Beyond this, there’s not exactly many story details in the game, however the thing that’s attracted the most attention has to be the absolutely mind-blowing visuals. According to the trailer this is all captured on a PS5 as well, so there’s a lot to be excited about.
On May 2, Rockstar announced the unfortunate fact that the game was going to be delayed until 2026, and GTA 6 will release on May 26 of that year. We covered some of this in our GTA 6 release date info article.
Still this new trailer has definitely muted some of the disappointment over GTA 6 missing the 2025 release window.
