Always considered one of the most talented ADC players in the world, HLE Viper has now broken a new record in the KR solo queue.
HLE Viper beats the highest LP record registered in Korea
Over the course of the day, the ADC player was able to break the 2100 LP barrier, achieving a peak score of 2149. After losing a game, Viper stopped the count at 2127 LP, with a combined score of 225 wins and 149 losses. If we factor in these numbers, it amounts to a 60% win rate.
For someone who has been playing regularly at the peak competitive level and in Challenger for years, the stats are even more incredible. To make the run, Viper went on a 10-game win streak (which included a jungle Nidalee game as well) before losing the last game on Ashe.
This season, the ADC player has mainly been playing his pocket pick Ezreal, scoring a 60% win rate on a total of 89 games. If you want to be like Viper, learn which are the best supports for Ezreal. His remaining top four picks are Zeri, Ashe, Jhin, and Kai’Sa, with all of them having win rates above the 60% mark.
The player is gapping the rest of the Korean ladder
HLE Viper is currently nearly over 300 LP higher than the second highest ranked player on the Korean solo queue, with current support for DK’s Challengers team. Kwangdong Freecs’ mid lane BuLLDoG is following closely in third place, with other several pro players in the top 10.
Just to put it into perspective, below are the ranked ratings for the remaining members of the HLE lineup:
Doran – Challenger 1440 LP
Peanut – Grandmaster 806 LP
Zeka – Challenger 1326 LP
Delight – Challenger 1499 LP
Viper has always been regarded as a talented ADC who has probably not won as much as he deserved. Aside from winning the world championship on EDG back in 2021, he has been steadily among the best ADC in the world but no international results have been achieved. Will this be the year of revenge? We’ll have to find out if the team manages to qualify for Worlds 2024 later this September.
